Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and Wash. DC, age 18 and older. To enter, visit www.saks.com and follow all online entry instructions. Online entry must be received between 12:01 AM Eastern Time (ET) on 04/07/03 and 11:59 PM (ET) on 05/07/03. All entry information becomes the property of
Saks Direct, 12 East 49th Street, New York, NY 10017 (?Sponsor?). One online entry per e-mail address per day. Online entrants subject to all notices posted at saks.com including but not limited to privacy policy. Incomplete entries are void. Online entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address
submitted at time of entry. The authorized account holder is deemed as the natural person who is assigned to
an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, service provider or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address.
NOTICE TO ONLINE CONTESTANTS
Winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Random drawing conducted on or about 5/14/03 by an independent judging organization whose decisions are final. Winner will be required to complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and a Publicity Release which must be signed and
notarized, and returned within 14 days of date printed on notification or an alternate potential winner will be selected. If the prize is awarded to a minor, parent or legal guardian must execute Affidavit and Release on minor's behalf. If notification letter is returned as undeliverable, it will result in disqualification, and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner at random. All taxes including but not limited to sales and income tax on prize are winner's responsibility. Winner may not substitute or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize with one of equal or greater value in the event a prize is unavailable. Prize is not redeemable for cash. The Sponsor does not make, nor in any manner will be responsible for, any warranty, representation or guarantee relating to prize; provided, however, the prize will be subject to the manufacturer?s standard warranty. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winner's name, prize won, hometown and likeness for advertising and publicity including online posting without additional compensation.

Sweepstakes governed by U.S. law. Employees and their immediate families of Sponsor, Saks Fifth Avenue, and their subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Winner releases Sponsor and its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, and agents from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense, including without limitation property damages, personal injury and/or death, arising out of participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use or misuse of the prize.

Mass entries, or entries generated by a script, macro, automated devices or as a result of bulk e-mail or
spamming of any sort are not eligible for the drawing. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an online entrant, entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account. Sponsor not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of, or failure to receive entry
information by sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site
or any combination thereof. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the sweepstakes. SECURITY POLICY

technology used by many other e-commerce websites. This means that using your credit card to place an order with saks.com is as safe as giving us your credit card information via telephone. In addition to encrypting your credit card information while it travels over the internet, for your convenience, we can store your credit card information on our systems in encrypted form.
For extra protection, we will do the following for you. If you make a purchase online at saks.com and as a result, through no fault of your own, the credit card information is stolen and fraudulent charges are made to your account, you will not have to pay the first $50 of those fraudulent charges. Simply do the following:
? If you use your Saks Fifth Avenue credit card, just call us at 1.877.551.SAKS and we will take care of your problem.
? If you use any other credit card, you must first notify the issuer of your credit card in accordance with the
issuer's rules about these fraudulent charges. If your credit card company makes you pay any part of the first $50 of these fraudulent charges (under federal law your credit card company can only make you pay up to $50), saks.com will reimburse you for the amount your credit card company required you to pay, up to $50.
